    About Us

The central purpose of this website is to define a new way to buy and sell real estate. Instead of the purchase and sale centering around an agent, it’s centered around the customer. The real estate agent is just there to facilitate the deal’s completion when the customer asks to become a client.

view of neighborhood

In the past, people had to go to an agent for nearly everything, beginning with information. That’s why so many agents have directed their efforts towards marketing themselves.

This site offers a service, not just a person. It presumes people interested in the area have already searched online for properties and have an idea of what’s on the market. But online searches can’t tell someone neighborhood specifics—what are the streets like, what do live-work rowhomes look like on the inside, which neighborhoods do families prefer. This site tells that and more, for free and without insisting on contact information in advance. We can also offer a network of lenders, home inspectors and title/escrow people to make it a near one-stop shop.

If you need an agent, I’m here to interpret data and answer questions. I started my business life as a department store buyer, so customer service comes first. This site seeks to build a virtual corner store for people considering buying or selling a home in the Silicon Forest—Orenco Station, Orenco Gardens, Bethany, Rock Creek, Bauer, Forest Heights, or even in nearby farm and ranch areas. And it’s all customer driven, not agent centered.

Adam Topol (www.adamtopol.com) is an amazing drummer. He has achieved a degree of fame as a band member with singer-songwriter Jack Johnson and recently formed his own band, the Culver City Dub Collective. Adam is my nephew and I'm extremely proud of him. He's worked incredibly hard and has overcome tremendous obstacles.

Sean Swarmer (www.cancerclimber.org) is a hero in every sense of the word. At 13, he was given three months to live upon being diagnosed with Stage Four Hodgkin's Disease. He somehow survived, but incredibly, at age 15, a tumor in his chest turned out to be Askin's Sarcoma. Doctors gave him two weeks to live. He responded by climbing Mt. Everest when he was 28, despite having the use of only one lung. His website and project is devoted to inspiring young cancer victims.
